Hello, hello, a big hello to you all Brave Souls
It is only 7 days to go until our Take the Fear Out of Networking workshop. And Peter and I are very excited to kick off our pre-workshop email discussions starting today.
You may be wondering why we are calling you a Brave Soul.
Well, it’s simple.
Public speaking is often said to be feared more than death itself. But I reckon networking is not far behind. And by putting your hand up and registering for the workshop, you have earned your brave soul badge.
While it may seem daunting at the start, networking does become easier and maybe even enjoyable (stop rolling your eyes, people!!!), but only if you are willing to invest a bit of time and effort in better understanding how to network. And this starts with completing the pre-workshop survey to explore your very own relationship with networking.
The pre-workshop survey is short. Most participants only spent 2 minutes completing it. So if you haven’t done so already, make sure to complete your survey soon, like …. RIGHT NOW.
Once you have completed your survey, spend a moment and imagine what effective networking looks like for you and what it can help you achieve in life. Remember, opening your mind to a successful outcome is as important as understanding your own resistance to networking.
